Alpaca
Alpaca wool is extremely warm because the fibers are hollow at the center, and it has excellent moisture retention and heat retention properties. It also has the characteristic of being resistant to pilling.
Although alpaca has such excellent characteristics, unfortunately, there are problems in the background of its production. One of these problems is the decrease in the number of colored alpacas such as black and brown. Due to the spread of chemical dyes, the demand for white alpaca, which is easy to dye, has increased, while the demand for brown and black alpaca, which is difficult to dye, has decreased. We actively use natural colors such as black and brown.
